Framingham State beat Westfield State in a 4-2 win. Framingham advances to the championship round, while Westfield will play the evening game versus Bridgewater State.
Framingham plated 4 runs in the top of the fifth and took advantage of four costly errors.
Westfield starter Chelsea Sylivia (12-6) took the loss in the circle. She gave up 4 runs (none earned) on 7 hits. Sylivia threw an impressive 127 pitches, struck 9 batters, walked no one.
