With the wind blowing out at the UMASS-Dartmouth Athletic Complex yesterday, Steve Smith and Andrew Dillon took full advantage of it.

Both hitters looked poised for a good season starting off regular season play combining for six hits, eight rbi's, four runs, and two walks in a 15-13 win over the Corsairs.

Smith started off the first inning with an rbi single bringing home Right Fielder Brad Koneski, but this would not be the end of Smith's day.

Smith continued the onslaught in the 4th inning with a double which plated two runs.
Then Andrew Dillon came up and smacked a two run homer off of Corsairs pitcher Shaun McAuliffe.

Later, in the sixth inning Smith got his third hit of the day with a double to center field.

With an all ready impressive stat line Smith and Dillon continued to add to the box score. In the seventh inning with a Smith rbi single to left field and Dillon launching another homerun to center field for two rbi's.

Steve Smith rounds second base after hitting a homerun.
