Kelly LaDow Named MASCAC Player of the Week


BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State College sophomore catcher Kelly LaDow has been named the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Baseball Player of the Week as he helped lead the Bears to a 5-1 record last week.
A native of East Falmouth, Massachusetts, LaDow batted .522 (12-for-23) with 10 RBI in Bridgewater's six games last week. He was also a perfect 7-for-7 with a pair of doubles and 6 RBI in the Bears' doubleheader split with MASCAC rival Worcester State. LaDow went 3-for-3 with a double and a walk in game one of the twinbill, and capped off the day by going 4-for-4 with a double and 6 RBI in BSC's 9-5 win in game two.
LaDow, who also posted a 4-for-5, 3 RBI performance against Becker College, is currently batting .439 (18-for-41) with 3 doubles, 12 runs batted in and a .531 slugging percentage in 12 games this season.
